Leverstock Green faced London Colney for the second time in four days, but this time could not recover a two-goal deficit as they were beaten in Tuesday night’s Challenge Trophy semi-final.
Two superb strikes from Jonathan Lacey and Curtis Donaldson erased a 2-0 half time deficit as Leverstock Green earned a point from Saturday’s SSML Premier Division visit to league leaders London Colney.
The under-18s completed their home SCFYL fixtures with a 3-0 win over Hemel Hempstead Town Red on Thursday night. Goalscorers were Jack Evans, Oliseh Okwudi and Robbie Tocher.

Leverstock Green turned in a very disappointing display as they were beaten 1-0 at home by a Colney Heath side reduced to ten men before half time.
The under-18s were 2-0 down inside 15 minutes of Thursday’s SCFYL Corinthian Division game at Hemel Hempstead Town White, and ended up on the wrong end of a 4-1 scoreline. Oliseh Okwudi scored the consolation goal from the penalty spot.
