Kevin Salter Assistant Manager Acted as coach during Hemel Hempstead Girls inaugural season 2004/05. Took over as manager the following season and led the team to two cup finals (including success in The Chairmans Plate final) along with a third place finish in Division 2. 2006/07 saw the team win the 2nd Division title by a comfortable margin and finish unbeaten to gain promotion to Division 1. 2007/08 was a baptism of fire in Division 1 but the team finished as a much improved unit and won the Plate Competition beating Headstone Manor 2-1 in the final. 2008/09 saw further improvement in the team with a first ever County Cup final and top flight football retained with a greatly improved points and goals tally. In 2009/10 a fantastic effort from the entire squad saw Hemel pip Spurs to 4th in the league, reach the County Cup Semi-Final and win the Hemel 7s summer tournament. 2010/11 Finally realised his ambition of winning the County Cup along with tournament triumphs at Ruislip and Hemel along with a top four finish in the league. 2011/12 Last season as Hemel Girls finished with a successful defence of the County Cup winning the U16s competition, along with an unbeaten League campaign to secure the league title, Runners-up in the League Cup and winning the prestigious Milton Keynes 6-a-side Tournament. |
