Tony Smart was awarded by the Football Association for his 50 years service to football on Saturday by officers of the Herts FA and Spartan South Midlands League.
Tony, who is Vice-Chairman, Treasurer, Bar Manager and Programme Editor, becomes the fourth club stalwart to have received this award. The first was Jim “Macca” Matthews, the second was Bill Dawes in 2014 and the third was Brian Barter in 2019.
