Leverstock Green Reserves’ run of defeats continued, but there were encouraging signs as they found the net for the first time in four games and were edged out by the odd goal in seven. The returning Luc Dischamps scored twice, and under-18s player Ashton Corder scored on his debut in a 4-3 defeat at Allenburys Sports.

It was a bad day at the office for league leaders Leverstock Green Reserves as they were beaten 5-1 at Allenburys Sports in Saturday’s Herts Senior County League Premier Division game. After playing well during the first half they conceded a goal late on to trail 1-0 at the break. A poor start to the second half saw them concede further goals in the 47th, 49th and 55th minutes, and a red card for Jose Costa in the 58th minute reduced them to ten men.

Alex Vtornicov netted for the fourth game in a row to pull a goal back, but another goal for Allenburys late in the game made it 5-1.
