Under 15s reach cup final

The Under-15s reached the final of the EJA Peter Peters Cup with a 1-0 semi-final win at Colney Heath on Tuesday night.

A first half goal from Shae Robinson was enough for the Leverstock side to claim the victory, and their reward is a place in the final against Welwyn Garden City U15 Reds.

The Green side also continues to progress in the President’s Cup (Plate), where they reached the quarter-finals with a 6-0 win away to AFC Sudbury on Sunday 13th March. Jamie McIntosh scored twice, with David Barbakdze, Lucas Georgiou, Leo Goldschmied and Joshua Weidner also on the scoresheet. In the quarter-finals they have a home tie against Takeley U15 on Sunday 3rd April, KO 11.00 am.

The side is currently second in the U15 Brown Division, one point behind Berkhamsted with both sides having four games left to play. Their most recent result was a 3-2 home win over St Albans City U15 on Sunday 20th March, with Jamie McIntosh scoring twice again, and David Barbakdze scoring the other. This coming Sunday they are away to Cockfosters U15.
