Draws for the early rounds of the Emirates FA Cup, Isuzu FA Vase and FA Youth Cup were released today.
In the Emirates FA Cup, we have been drawn at home to Halstead Town in the Extra Preliminary Round, to be played on Saturday 6th August. Halstead will be playing in the Essex Senior League this season having been promoted from the Eastern Counties League Division One South via the playoffs. The winners of that tie will be at home to White Ensign – another Essex Senior League club, or SSML Premier Division newcomers St Panteleimon in the Preliminary Round on Saturday 20th August.
In the Isuzu FA Vase, we have been drawn away to Edgware and Kingsbury in the First Qualifying Round, to be played on Saturday 27th August. The club formerly known as Edgware Town currently play in the Combined Counties League Premier Division North, and were of course the club that were previously managed by our manager Fergus Moore. The winners of that tie will be away to Flackwell Heath or Risborough Rangers in the Second Qualifying Round on Saturday 24th August.
In the FA Youth Cup we have been drawn away to neighbours Berkhamsted in the Extra Preliminary Round, to be played on Thursday 18th August. The winners of that tie will be at home to Langley in the Preliminary Round week commencing 29th August.
Please note that replays have been reintroduced for the FA Cup qualifying rounds this season. However, in the FA Vase and FA Youth Cup there are no replays or extra time, with ties going straight to penalties if level after 90 minutes.
