Leverstock Green were presented with the KitAid Supporters Cup before last Saturday’s game with Cockfosters.
The trophy was presented by Derrick Williams MBE from KitAid, a charity which distributes previously used football kits to underprivileged children and adults in some of the world’s poorest countries.
As Leverstock Green and Aylesbury Vale Dynamos have both been supporters of the charity, the KitAid Supporters Cup was due to be awarded to the winners of their league match on November 12th. As that match finished in a 3-3 draw, the trophy was carried over to the return meeting, which was eventually played on March 7th with Leverstock winning 4-2.
