Presentation Evening

Leverstock Green held its 2024/25 Presentation Evening on Saturday following the completion of both the First Team and Reserve Team seasons.

Under-18 team manager Jon Turner presented the awards for his side, which went to:
Top goalscorer: George Eldridge
Manager’s Player of the Season: Joe Sadler
Players’ Player of the Season: Shae Robinson

The Reserve Team awards were next, presented by manager Andy Murray. The awards went to:
Top goalscorer: Callum Moore
Manager’s Player of the Season: Freddie Newing
Players’ Player of the Season: Callum Moore

It was then time for the awards for the First Team, who had completed a remarkable escape to preserve their Southern League status earlier in the afternoon.
The top goalscorer award was shared by Guiseppe Delgaudio and Luke Beckwith, each with nine goals.
Young Player of the Season was awarded to goalkeeper Ryan North, who has been a crucial part of the team’s late-season recovery.
Supporters’ Player of the Season was won by Nat Connolly.
Manager’s Player of the Season was awarded to Callum Neal.
Players’ Player of the Season went to Dan Pett.

Club Chairman Emma Smart was voted Clubman of the Year, with the award presented by Scott McGleish.

Dan Pett presented an award to club captain Dan Weeks, who is retiring from playing twenty years after he first represented the club, with a total of 288 club appearances.

Club President Jamie Herd presented the President’s Award to Bill Dawes, who is finally stepping down from his role as groundsman at the age of 84, having fulfilled many roles at the club over many years, including both chairman and president.

Emma also presented an award to Pete Jerram, who is also stepping down from the club this summer, and finally the Chairman’s Award, which went to Alan Lee.
