Leverstock Green reached their second semi-final of the season as they finally beat Berkhamsted Raiders 3-1 in the much-delayed St Mary’s Cup quarter-final at Pancake Lane on Tuesday night.

All three goals were scored by teenagers, with 17-year-old James Hall heading home from a corner in the 17th minute to open the scoring. 19-year-old Ethan Flanagan headed in the second goal from another corner three minutes later.

The visitors pulled a goal back three minutes into the second half, but a penalty from 19-year-old Ollie Lawford in the 75th minute sealed the win for the Green side which takes them into a home semi-final against Tring Athletic.
