Leverstock Green ReservesMatch Report
Leverstock Green Reserves ended a run of five games without a win with a 3-0 victory away to St Margaretsbury in Tuesday night’s HSCL Premier Division game. With the Under-18s having an FA Youth Cup tie in two days, a number of first team squad players were brought in to get some minutes, and there were two new signings.
Justin Dass put Leverstock into the lead in the 6th minute with a shot from the edge of the box, and Oliver Glimas made it 2-0 in the 27th minute with a long-range shot. Dass came close to adding his second in first half stoppage time, hitting the post with a shot after the keeper had saved his first effort.
The third goal came in the 83rd minute as Glimas crossed for skipper Brandon Bromyard to head home at the far post. Substitute Oscar Roe was unlucky in the 88th minute with a shot that hit the inside of the post and came out.
