Leverstock Green suffered their first defeat of pre-season on a wet morning at Broadfields United. In what was a game of few chances, Leverstock looked better in the first half, with both Aldo Petagine and Joel Onu having shots saved in quick succession. The squad was missing a number of first team players today, and after further changes in the second half, it was the home side who found the net twice, firstly from a free kick in the 65th minute, with the second goal coming ten minutes later. Inbetween those goals Leverstock’s second half keeper Harry Maloret saved a penalty.

Later in the day the reserves played their second pre-season game, drawing 2-2 at home to Codicote.
