Leverstock Green Reserves almost pulled off an astonishing comeback against Allenburys Sports, but ended up losing out by the odd goal in nine.

With many players unavailable today, the game was always likely to be tough, and Leverstock were 2-0 down at half time, and 4-0 down early in the second half. However, Alex Vtornicov pulled the first goal back before Charlie Clarke made it 2-4 from the spot and Emmanuel Igwilo reduced the arrears to 3-4. Allenburys scored a fifth, but Curtis Gangarahwe pulled back another goal to make it a tense finish.
