The red card received by Iker Noguera Leon in last Saturday’s game at Hertford has been reduced to a yellow card.
Iker was mistakenly shown a yellow card for an off-the-ball push on a Hertford player, and was subsequently shown a second yellow card for continuing to protest his innocence.
The club appealed the initial booking as a clear case of mistaken identity, and having reviewed the footage, the FA upheld the appeal. That booking has now been given to Ashton Corder, who actually committed the foul. Iker still has the second yellow card to his name, but no red card and he will now not be suspended for this Saturday’s game against Beaconsfield Town.
Thanks to Hertford Town for supplying the Veo footage which clearly showed that Iker was nowhere near the incident.
