Leverstock Green progressed to the second round of the Herts Senior Cup with a 2-1 win over Oxhey Jets on Tuesday night. An early goal from Luke Nugent gave the Green a half-time lead, but Jets levelled through Tom Gibson in the second half. The possibility of penalties was looming, until Chris Blunden scored an injury time winner to put Leverstock through.

The reward for the win is an away tie against Watford. This will be played week commencing 26th November, but the venue has not been confirmed yet.
