Match Report
The reserves maintained their 100% home league record, but it turned out to be a close-run thing as Harefield United staged a great comeback in Saturday’s Suburban League Central Division game at Pancake Lane.
Reynaldo Carbon gave Leverstock a 1-0 lead in the 4th minute, Kynen Willis made it 2-0 in the 38th minute, and just before half time a Deandre Blake penalty sent the Green side into the break with a 3-0 lead. Further goals from Carbon and Blake made it 5-0 in the second half and it looked like Leverstock were on their way to a comfortable three points. However, Harefield pulled a goal back, which then became two and three, and by the time the final whistle came Leverstock were hanging on to a 5-4 win.
