Leverstock Green were beaten 2-0 at home by AFC Dunstable in their second pre-season friendly.
It was a game of few chances, with little goalmouth action, and the Leverstock side will be disappointed by the goals they conceded in the first half. The first goal in the 20th minute was a mistake by keeper Carl Tasker, who allowed a soft shot to slid through his hands into the net, while the second on 37 minutes came from a poorly defended corner.
The Southern League side, managed by former Leverstock boss Steve Heath, fielded different sides in each half, with the first half side looking the stronger, while Leverstock used eight substitutes in the second half.
Starting XI: Carl Tasker, Harry Barrett, Zak Howells, Reece Morley, Jack Stevens, Jamie Fulton, Frankie Jowle, Steve Hawes (capt), Kai Stonell, Luis Brooker, Adiel Mannion. Subs included: Kane O’Neil, Ollie Cox, John Smith, Jake Williamson, Zak McNicholas and Louis Griffiths.
