Under-18s pegged back by Hemel

The under-18s took a 2-0 lead against neighbours Hemel Hempstead Town in tonight’s SCFYL Merton Shield group game, but the visitors levelled the scores with two quickfire goals.
Alfie Bigg scored directly from a free kick to put Leverstock 1-0 up in the 24th minutes, and Ben Payne doubled the lead in the 63rd minute after Isiah Noel-Williams’ shot was saved.

However Mark Adu-Guamp pulled a goal back for Hemel in the 75th minute, and three minutes later a goal from Rodger Siluba levelled the scores, meaning that the Green side have drawn both of their opening two matches in group B of the Merton Shield.
