Leverstock Green’s under-18 side continued their run in the FA Youth Cup with a win on penalties against Broadfields United in Thursday night’s Preliminary Round tie.

Alex Gyamfi gave Leverstock a first half lead, but the visitors equalised in the second half having been reduced to ten men. But with the score at 90 minutes 1-1, Leverstock came out on top 3-2 in the penalty shoot-out.

They will now face a home tie against Rayners Lane in the First Round Qualifying on Thursday 17th September.
