Leverstock Green were moments away from clinching a place in the next round of the FA Cup, but Edgware Town rescued the game with a late free kick and the two sides must now replay on Tuesday night at Pancake Lane.

Leverstock Green were beaten 2-1 by Barton Rovers in an entertaining pre-season friendly at Pancake Lane on Saturday afternoon, after the Green’s under-18 side had beaten their Barton counterparts 4-1 earlier in the day.
The club would like to congratulate both Tremayne Charles and Reynaldo Carbon, who this week signed contracts with Southern League Premier Division side Hitchin Town.
