There was a win for the under-14s but defeat for the under-16s in Sunday’s games.
The under-14s enjoyed a 2-1 home win over Ware F.C. Academy. Lucas Georgiou put the Green side ahead in the 11th minute with a header, but Ware equalised against the run of play ten minutes later. However, Georgiou scored again in the 53rd minute with a superb strike from 35 yards which proved to be the winner.
Later in the day the under-16s were beaten 1-0 at home by Letchworth Garden City Eagles.
